Portrait: “The Birth of Peace” by Paul Sequeira

Portrait By Paul Sequeira

“The Birth of Peace”

Note from the Publisher

This remarkable and delicate portrait  taken in 1970 by Photographer Paul Sequeira during his coverage of the Rock Fest at Kickapoo Creek IL  seems to me like a modern day version of Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus” .  The peace symbol –  new and even daring  at that time – prompted the title: “The Birth of Peace”.
