Photography: “Alaska Part 1 – Wildlife” by Mel Solomon
Publisher’s Note
Photographer Mel Solomon writes: “This is my fourth visit to Alaska to photograph its beauty and wildlife. Within this photo series you will see just a few of the reasons why I am so enchanted by this amazing area of our country. Through my lens I was able to capture images of eagles, humpback whales, glaciers and beautiful landscapes, almost all of them photographed in pouring rain, cold, wind, and heavy fog. While not a photographer’s best weather, I did come away with some unexpected dramatic scenes.” Part 2 will be published in Syndic No.13
