                                                            “Well,

                                                            that’s it;

                                                            I did my duty;

 

                                                            now-

                                                            whether it’s tomorrow,

                                                            days,

                                                            weeks

                                                            or

                                                            months from now,

 

                                                            Americans will get

                                                            what they want-

                                                            most likely

                                                            what they deserve;

 

                                                            maybe,

                                                            individually-

                                                            even collectively-

                                                            it’s possible

                                                            their course has been run.

 

                                                            If so-

                                                            if that’s the case-

 

                                                            I say-

                                                            fess up America-

                                                            admit what you are,

                                                            admit what you’re not.”
