Night in Venice
Written by Dmytro Chystiak

Narrated by Charles Rammelkamp
A chapel slumbers in the reeds,
A distant storm slowly turns to blue.
We’re interweaving into Autumn’s weeds,
Embrace me with your shadow’s hue.
Above white marble cypress trees
Dazzling an abyss of white.
A snowy city paints my dream, yet flees.
Embrace me in the dark of night.
You are not singing – only breathing Spring,
And stars like sons are bright and high.
And when the morning starts to softly ring
Embrace me first then pass me by.
