Schizophrenia

By

Rasha Monsour

Narrated by Anne Chatfield

I belong to a schizophrenic republic

 where women are allowed to

live, giggle, fall in love ,take a drink,

and betray themselves behind closed doors.

Bu , they are not allowed to have a cup of power

 in public.

What a shame!

I belong to a society where

women are forced to take birth control pills

 to avoid impregnating their minds.

To men all women seem crazy.

They are the cause of the world’s friction.

They are the inhabitants of Hell.

Absolutely, they are deficient in mind.

What a shame!

Dear my subnormal society,

What would happen if you believe that “beauty is the size of my mind,

not the size of my Jeans?

 What would happen?

If your only concern is to conquer ME ,

as if you are Alexander the Great.

Be sure that –

“ I will not let anyone walk through my mind with dirty feet” .
