LET ME …

Written by Noris Roberts

Translated from the Spanish by the poet

Narrated by Kristine Doll

Venezuela

Let me be among some phrase on your lips,

during an instant that pretends to be budding,

where kisses and thirst are intertwined…

Let me be enveloped in your kisses,

amidst the unpredictable touch of your fingers,

in the memory of some thought

Let me lean in the mirror of your eyes;

we are like two cities

that while being so near

are lost in a fog

Like the swaying of the sea on the sand

I serenely search for that feeling

that swore love among a thousand interrupted phrases…

Out of mere necessity,

let me be filled with you
