Introduction
Every movement for social justice becomes a breeding ground for artistic expression, which seeks to convey the plight of those oppressed and their struggle for justice. Illustrator Andy Zermeno was the premier illustrator of the farmworker movement (1962-1993) and frequently used ironic humor to drive home his point. A labor of love, his contribution to Cesar Chavez and his farmworker movement was immense. – LeRoy Chatfield
