Britta R. Kollberg grew up in East Berlin and worked as a graduate mathematician until the fall of the wall, after which she specialized in education and social services for more than twenty years. She has recently finished her studies of Creative Writing and literature at Bar Ilan University, Israel, graduating in 2014.
