Narration by Paul Mann

We the people-

after
more than two-hundred years
of
an often fraught union-

now need-

to renew our originally stated truths;

between each other;
between one another;
between each of us
and
our way of governing;

we the people
need to reaffirm
that
what binds us-
together-
are the same

unalienable rights;
which say-
unequivocally-
that-
no matter
who we are
or
what we have become-

share,
inextricably-

the immutable fact
that
all of us
are created equal;

and,
as such-
as equals-
we have the equally same right
to
life,
liberty
and
the pursuit of happiness;

we need to do such
lest we forget
from whence we came
because
that distant history
can
just as easily
become-
once again-
our future-

so help us God.
